I recently had lunch (3rd time) at Envers of Morriston, and WOW. What an amazing little secret just south of Guelph. The food was amazing, and watching the Chefs walk out to the garden and get the vegetables and herbs that were going into my food was refreshing. The food was absolutely amazing. We celebrated a surprise party in the back room today, and it was Terrific! Food was great..hot and tasty with a good variety from their party menu.The waitresses were right on top of everything, even though they were working the front room as well. On the weekend I dropped by because I learned that they had Lugtread Lagered Ale on tap. The hostess said that they were serving Sunday brunch and that sitting at the bar was awkward. However, soon, a waiter brought in a bar stool and soon I was sipping my fave beer on tap. It was a sunny day so the view was great, bartender friendly and as a bonus there was a keyboard player singing a whole host of great songs. I will definitely go back for beer...only place in town that serves Lugtread Ale. (I did not eat, but I had to click a food rating to save my review !)

I love the new decor! My husband and I shared the Warm Salad special, which was fantastic. I had the Duo of Duck and my husband tried the special which was Beef Cheek. Both were really, really good. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which was very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and professional, with just enough friendliness. We will definitely be back.

Good food, good service(slow drink service but I think the waiters are also the bartenders), and great location\atmosphere. Bit of a boring spring menu but anxious to go back and see what they create for summer. Close to Niagara region and lots of wonderful fresh produce and farm products. Very large and expensive wine selection. Unfortunately a very gritty\sandy scallop kept the food from getting a perfect score.

Margarita- Only had better at an authentic Mexican place in Bradford (MexiCanada). Wonderful traditional flavor and properly made and presented.
Dry Rib- Excellent. Wonderful taste, not overwhelming the meat, meat done to perfection. Was told it was more spicy than the wet rib, loved the heat. Had it with a nice Malbec
Coleslaw - best I have ever had. The sauce was creamy but light and didn't overwhelm the veg. Very fresh and crunchy.
Sweet Potato Fry- done nice and dark (double fried) and still full full of flavor but no grease AT ALL. excellent job.
Atmosphere- low key, dim lights and excellent music mix. Easy to slip into an indulgent mode. Very comfortable in the diner decor and the simple bell used to signal the next order being ready.
OVERALL - WOW! Will be back. Can't wait for patio season!

My sister and brother-in-law visited us from Holland - so it was my absolute intention to bring them here. My husband and I visit every couple of months and we love it. The food is fabulous and the service second to none. Bread, water and wine replaced when needed and you're made to feel very confortable.
